The purpose of the Museum is to document and make available traces of the development of porcelain production in Silesia. The Museum is registered in the registry of museums maintained by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The Museum is part of the network of technical museums of the Silesian Industrial Heritage Protection Foundation.

- The tour of the Museum’s exhibition lasts about 60 minutes.
- Tours are conducted with a Guide only.
- Groups visiting the Museum at the same time cannot exceed 10 people.
- The Museum strictly prohibits the introduction of animals.
- The Museum strictly prohibits the smoking of tobacco products.
- Visits to the Museum by children are only allowed under the supervision of guardians.
- Organized groups are required to make a reservation in advance. Visiting without a prior reservation may result in the unavailability of spots.
- The last tour and workshops start an hour before the Museum closes.
